Michael Munster began tattooing in 2002 working at Atomic Art Tattoo in Nampa, ID. Three and a half years later he opened his own studio, Munster's Ink Tattoo, in Homedale, ID with the support of his wife and four children.

During the winter of 2007 Michael was working a second job to supplement the often slow winter tattoo business. He was laid off from his second job and had to make a hard decision to let his business insurance lapse.

Consequently, the burglary has left the Munster's with no way to continue with their tattoo studio. After just under two years owning their own business they had to close the doors permanently. Michael is now borrowing equipment and working at Atomic Art Tattoo in Nampa again. His family also had to move from Homedale back to Nampa.

Final Underground is asking the community help to get Michael back on his feet again.

A tattoo gun runs from $90 to $300, a case of 50 needles $25, bottle of ink $10. If we could raise enough to get him one tattoo gun, a case of needles, and some ink we will be able to help him turn around his terrible luck.

On Friday the 13^th in June a benefit show will be held at The Knitting Factory (formerly The Big Easy Concert House) in Boise. Final Underground, Black Tooth Grin, Sub*Vert, and Paylface will be playing. There will be a raffle with many prizes including two $200 retail value tattoos donated by Mike Munster and a personal fire show donated by Burning Desire 454.
